Historic Ferndale Home

Home was very nice. Well decorated with much nostalgia and past history highlighted throughout. The home was well stock with essentials. The location to downtown was Great ! Walking distance to everything. A couple of things to note: the house is literally next to the firehouse, with a second fire station across the street. Several times a day there was an extremely loud alarm blasted( similar to a warning siren), almost deafening . There was no mention of this in the posting. Secondly, the bathroom is not necessarily conducive for an older couple. The bathroom has a beautiful claw-foot tub however it’s not easy to enter and extremely slippery. It also does not have a shower curtain so it’s difficult to avoid water from getting on the wall and floors. Over all it was a nice home but probably suited for younger couples.

Loved the house; very comfy/cozy. Beds were comfortable as well. Loved the fact that we were right around the corner to shopping and restaurants. It was perfect weather so we were able to walk to town for our meals. We enjoyed Centerville Beach. Its a VERY CLEAN beach and we collected many BEAUTIFUL rocks! All the towns people were very friendly. We had a great time in your great town! Thank You!

59th Eureka class reunion, I haven’t been back for many years and only visited a couple of times. A wonderful experience staying in such a quaint town with so much history. The White House had such great history and everything was great. Thank you

This house was filled with antiques and memorabilia out of the 1800's and 1900's. It was like stepping back in time except for the modern kitchen, bathroom and WIFI. Walking around the town of Ferndale was also a step back in time. The fenced yard made it nice for us and the dogs. And we were only a few miles to the beach and the Redwoods! I would highly recommend this house to family and friends.
